• some of the color variation represents actual color differences, some is simply a result of whether the portion of the plant is in bright sun or shade.
• Sources state that Juniperus chinensis var. sargentii holds green color throughout the year, but this particualr plant seemed greenish brown and some lighter colors during the winter.
