• Habit :

  Summer, Winter and Fall habit of the hippocastanum - Horsechestnut tree.

• Buds :

  Winter terminal bud of Horse-chestnut. Buds is shiny and sticky.

• Leaves :

  Palmately compound leaf, with 5 to 7 leaflets.

• Flowers :

  Flowers with 5 white petals, in large, terminal clusters

• Fruit and Seeds :

  The fruit is a round, prickly, leathery capsule with large, shiny, brown seeds each with a pale scar. Capsule splits into 3 parts
