The photos on this page are of a pair of Acer rubrum - red maple trees that were located Morton arboretum at Parking 2. The first 4 photos are of the male and female trees through winter, spring, summer and fall. The 5th photo shows only the male in early spring. I don't know why, or exactly when the female was removed.

The remainder of the photos shows the progression of buds, flowers, leaves and fruit from winter through fall.
